The war between Ukraine and Russia is one of the war events that has had the most international impact in 2022. Tanks, missiles, weapons, and drones are the main protagonists of a story that shares surprising images of an event that will leave a mark forever.

Recently, the Ukrainian Air Force shared a video in which they intercept a Russian cruise missile that was going to bomb the Ukrainian troops, but fortunately, the soldiers managed to obstruct it.

In the video, it can be seen that the missile travels through the sky and an operator from Ukraine uses a MANPADS (portable air defense system) to stop the weapon instantly.

According to users, the weapon was either a Kh-101 or Kh-55 cruise missile and the MANPADS was a 9K38 Igla with a portable infrared homing air defense system (SAM) which has an effective range of 5,300 meters and weighs ten kilos.

On the other hand, due to the images of the footage, some suggest that the intercepted Russian missile is a 3M-54 Kalibr that can change direction to make it difficult to intercept and reach speeds of Mach 3.
