Elon Musk messes it up again with a poll on whether Trump should get his Twitter account back

The owner of the Twitter platform, Elon Musk, has submitted the restoration of the profile on the social network of former United States President Donald Trump to a public survey and has stated that the result will determine the final decision by writing "Vox Populi, Vox Dei" (voice of the people, voice of God) on your account.

The poll exceeded three million votes in just one hour. Ten hours after its publication, and with more than 9 million votes cast, Trump's 'yes' won with 52.5% of the votes, to a 47.5 'no'.

The social network allows the user to customize the time allowed to answer the question, however, Musk has maintained the default option for which a period of 24 hours is given to participate.

This Friday, Musk acknowledged that the "had not yet been taken", although the profiles of the actress and comedian Kathy Griffin, the psychologist Jordan Peterson and the conservative satirical news portal Babylon Bee had been restored.

Trump's profile on the blue bird social network was suspended after the assault on the Capitol on January 6, 2021, when a mob of ultranationalists stormed the US Parliament to try to prevent the transfer of power to the president-elect, Joe Biden, considering that the elections had been rigged.
