Zelensky Says Putin Wants To 'Drowned Ukraine In The Blood Of Russian Soldiers'

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said, in an interview published by the German daily Bild, that his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, wants to drown Ukraine in blood, but also in the blood of his own soldiers," referring to the mobilization ordered by Putin, a measure that, according to the Ukrainian president, is not something new.

"We already know that he has mobilized cadets, boys who did not know how to fight. They could not even finish their training. All those people do not know how to fight. Those cadets have fallen. They have come to die among us," he assured.

The Russian-ordered mobilization, according to Zelensky, shows that Putin has "problems" with his officers and other military personnel.

The announcement of the mobilization did not surprise Zelensky: "I have all the information I need. The speech was nothing new for me. Our secret services and our allies had already said it. The mobilization has been going on for the whole last month." he claimed.

"He is seeing that his units are just running away. He needs an army of millions because he sees that many of those who have come have run away," he added.
