- A commentator says that Liz Truss should "demonstrate the best qualities of a woman".
Putin's public television sends the candidate for British prime minister "to the kitchen"
The debate on Saturday nights on Russian public television Rossija-1 has become, since the invasion of Ukraine began six months ago, one more vehicle for the propaganda of the Putin regime.
This Saturday, the target of the critics of the gatherings has been Liz Truss, the candidate, and the main favorite to replace Boris Johnson as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and leader of the Conservative Party after the resignation of the current premier.
Truss said a few days ago that Russia "cannot prevail" in its war against Ukraine. In response, Igor Korotchenko, an analyst for the show, said that Liz Truss's rightful place is not in politics, "but in the kitchen."

Korotchenko said candidate Truss should "demonstrate the best qualities of a woman" and not "behave like a vulgar woman in a political strip show."
He also said that Truss is "uneducated" and called her "dangerous", hinting that he preferred his opponent Rishi Sunak, the former UK Chancellor of the Exchequer, who is also seeking to replace acting Prime Minister Boris Johnson, who will leave the charge in September.
Korotchenko also stated that Truss is ready for a nuclear war with Russia. The comments could have been an allusion to Truss's words of promising to go ahead with the renewal of Trident, the UK's nuclear program if she becomes prime minister.
