People who were in the shopping center began to run towards the street in fear of an alleged shooting. The parking lot was the place where both adults and children took refuge.
The reason for the shooting was a dispute in which the armed man pulled out his pistol and fired. Three people were injured and taken to hospital but none had gunshot wounds.

Today it was a shooting at Tyson’s Corner mall in Virginia. This is lawlessness. pic.twitter.com/R20XHqyThZ
The Police went to the Tysons Corner Center shopping center on Saturday afternoon before a notice of shots fired. Ultimately, it was not an active armed assailant and no one was injured by a gunshot, Fairfax County police say.
Authorities have not arrested anyone so far, but Police Chief Kevin Davis has said they will find, capture, and hold accountable those involved in this fight. At least two groups of people were involved in the dispute in which the shots were fired.
