China designs an AI that detects and neutralizes US aircraft carriers in real time

- The Asian country would have in its possession a technology that, according to some US military experts, could completely neutralize the US Army's aircraft carriers.

China could have, thanks to the advancement of new technologies, the power to completely neutralize the US aircraft carriers that have been a symbol of the superiority of the American army since the end of World War II.

According to the international researcher of the RAND Corporation, Timothy Heath, if these technologies really work, no North American aircraft carrier would be able to survive in a battle against an Asian country.

Thanks to Artificial Intelligence (AI), China is able to locate aircraft carriers around the world in real-time, so hiding from these Chinese sensors is a practically impossible task.

This technology was successfully tested last June, according to a Chinese scientific newspaper. In fact, this Artificial Intelligence system would have been able to identify and follow the USS Harry S. Truman despite the density of the clouds.

Timothy Heath has explained that until now, the Chinese army needed a large number of photographs to be able to locate the US aircraft carriers. It was such an expensive process that when they discovered where it was, it was no longer there.

With this new technology, they will be able to monitor in real-time, and with this information, China will be able to send long-range missiles to aircraft carriers and thus sink these large ships, explains Heath.

The RAND analyst thinks that for this reason, these structures have their days numbered, since "the future on the battlefield is going to be very transparent in the sense that the proliferation of satellites will make it increasingly difficult for ships to as the aircraft carriers hide.

Other experts such as senior commanders of the US Navy or captains of these aircraft carriers agree with Heath that it is a matter of time before they disappear and that the most convenient thing for the United States would be to invest in nuclear submarines.

In addition, they assure that in the event of an invasion of Taiwan, the most effective thing would be to position these combat platforms as far away as possible to flee from any attack.

With all this situation, we will have to see if the aircraft carriers really have their days numbered and if China should stop investing in the construction of an aircraft carrier fleet very similar to the American one, although, for the moment, we will have to wait to know the outcome of this historic military structure.
