- Putin Is Already Talking About The End Of The War: "It Will Take Time And There Will Be Negotiations"
Putin would have a hard time deploying 87% of Russia's nuclear weapons
Vladimir Putin dropped days ago that the risk of a nuclear threat was considerable, but now sources inside the Kremlin say that, if he wanted to do so, the Russian president would have problems deploying 87% of the nuclear weapons available to his country. In addition, the Mirror suggests that Ukrainian forces may be attempting another attack on the Crimean bridge, according to reports from a high-level Kremlin security meeting.
The West fears that Putin will unleash a nuclear attack on Ukraine, or even on NATO countries, but reports say much of Russia's nuclear arsenal could be unusable and just "nuclear waste." Furthermore, the same sources believe that Russia might not be able to hold on to Crimea and parts of Donetsk if the Crimean bridge is attacked again. This would stop the flow of arms and supplies into the disputed territory, where fierce fighting has been taking place.
Russia, further suggests that the strategically important bridge could be "completely disabled" in the next two months by Ukrainian forces, which are said to plan to tear down two other pillars that support the structure of 3,700 million dollars between the peninsula of Crimea, annexed in 2014, and southern Russia. The longest bridge in Europe was an important supply line for troops, fuel, weapons, and supplies for Russian forces fighting in Donbas.
Russia had hoped to finish repairs to the Kerch bridge by July of next year after it was damaged by an explosion in October. The Kremlin blamed Ukraine and its Western allies for the blast, but Kyiv has not claimed responsibility. On the other hand, Russian actions are aimed at leaving Ukraine in the dark with continued airstrikes against the country's power grid, in an attempt to force civilians to suffer Christmas and New Year "in the dark."
