Banksy confirms the authorship of a graffiti on a ruined building in Ukraine

The most famous and at the same time most mysterious graffiti artist in the world, the British Banksy, has unveiled a new one of his works. On this occasion, it is located in no less than Ukraine, in a building damaged by the war.

For a few days, the appearance of murals in Ukraine in the style of the English street artist had sparked rumors, and now Banksy, thanks to some photos he has shared on Instagram, has confirmed it.

One such mural shows a man resembling Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin being knocked over by a young man in a judo match, while the second piece of graffiti shows two boys using a metal tank trap as a seesaw.

However, it is the third mural that Banksy has claimed as his work on Instagram. The images in question, which are simply captioned "Borodyanka, Ukraine," show a gymnast balancing on her hands atop a destroyed building.

Borodyanka, located northwest of Kyiv, was one of the towns hardest hit by Russian bombing at the start of the invasion in February. It was occupied by Russian forces for several weeks, before being released two months later.

In just over 12 hours, the image shared by Banksy on Instagram accumulates more than 1.3 million likes. Banksy has 11.1 million followers on this social network.
