A swarm of naval kamikaze drones with Canadian pieces and possible English advice: this was the Ukraine attack on the Russian fleet
Ukraine released a video from today’s attack on Sevastopol. It shows a naval drone targeting the Black Sea Fleet’s Admiral Makarov Project 11356 frigate, which Russian sources said was damaged (it replaced the Moskva as the Black Sea Fleet’s flagship). https://t.co/zdAeWUvDrb pic.twitter.com/TNnIu4OIap

The Kremlin blames the UK. He assures that a unit of the British Navy directed the attack from the port of Ochakiv, in the south of Ukraine.
Moscow has reported only minor damage to the minesweeper Ivan Golubets in the city's port. But there has been more damage that Russia does not acknowledge.

According to an examination of video footage cited by The Guardian, the Russian flagship in the Black Sea, Admiral Makarov, was damaged and possibly disabled (it is the same ship that Kyiv said it sunk in May). According to unconfirmed reports, the ship's hull would be damaged and the radar systems would have been destroyed.
Follow-up: A huge thanks to @Torger78 for taking the time to identify the 🇷🇺 Russian Navy ships in the Sevastopol satellite analysis post yesterday! https://t.co/g1HtODoOqO pic.twitter.com/rwK99Z4fxY

This frigate would be one of the three Russian ships that were hit on Saturday. A swarm of drones, some in the air and others skimming the water struck the Russian navy at 4:20 a.m. The Ukrainian Armed Forces have released videos allegedly made on board several unmanned surface vessels (USV) used in the attack.
The alleged attack on a guided missile frigate and Russian forces are seen engaging the USVs with machine gun fire. The War Zone reports that these USVs appear to have the same design as the mysterious unmanned device found near Sebastopol in September. Then, this medium claimed that this boat was a "suicide drone" armed for detonation by impact.

Now beyond any reasonable doubt that the type of surface drones used by #Ukraine to attack Russian Navy in Sevastopol today were same as one previous found near the base. #OSINT

The USV moves fairly quickly through waves and heavy machine gun fire, as this post describes. At one point it passes over a small harbor patrol boat before a distant CCTV camera shows its likely disappearance at sea.
Suicide drones are a major threat to be dealt with in the future, especially as they migrate to more resourceful armies."
Another video shows an Admiral Grigorovich-class frigate of project 11356R - one of Russia's most modern and powerful warships - underway, as well as the port of Sevastopol. However, no media has been able to independently confirm the damage suffered by Admiral Makarov.

There is still a massive fog of war surrounding the #Ukraine️ attack on #Russian forces at Sevastopol. All UNCONFIRMED
3 parts to reports:
1. Reports in Russian media /SM that some Russian navy ships damaged. Reportedly including frigate Admiral Makarov #OSINT pic.twitter.com/cYYibm8jgf
In The War Zone, Howard Altman, Stetson Payne, and Tyler Rogoway write that Ukraine is serving as a staging ground for suicide drone warfare; a trial of its use and of its very concept. This type of weapon, they say, is "a great threat that should be faced in the future, especially when it migrates to armies with more resources."
