Several countries allied with Putin ask their citizens to leave Ukraine now
The diplomatic authorities of China and Egypt have recently asked their citizens to leave Ukraine immediately due to the danger posed by the war in the country.
Both the Chinese government and its embassy "urge Chinese citizens in the country to enhance security precautions and evacuate." "The embassy will help organize the evacuation of people in need," according to a statement collected by the official Chinese newspaper Global Times.
The Chinese authorities have recognized their support for the territorial integrity of Ukraine against the Russian invasion but are committed to diplomatic means to end the conflict. At the same time, they accuse the United States of allegedly provoking Moscow into starting a full-scale war.
Also, the Embassy of Egypt in Ukraine has published an alert to its citizens to leave the country with immediate effect. The diplomatic missions of the USA, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan have joined this call. Vladimir Rogov, leader of the "Together with Russia" movement in the annexed Zaporizhia region, stated on Telegram that in addition to the aforementioned countries, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan, allies of Moscow, closed their embassies and called on their citizens to leave from Ukraine.
In recent hours, the temporary closure of the Serbian Embassy for security reasons has also become known, according to a message published on the website of the diplomatic mission. "Diplomatic staff will continue to work from Belgrade until the conditions for returning to Ukraine are met," according to the message.
